I refuse to comment on this site, but am compelled to post its URL. It's a memorial/guestbook where people leave messages for their pets who have left this earthly world. An excerpt from a posting from 1998: "I am sorry my dog boy. I will love you again on the other side."

Mandy sent me a list of the "Top 25 signs that you live in 2002", featuring #11: "Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 years of your life, is cause for panic and turning around to go get it" and #3: "You call your son's beeper to let him know it's time to eat. He emails you back from his bedroom, 'What's for dinner?' ", and #1: "You just tried to enter your PIN on the microwave".

If not, and you happen to have an extra $78,000.00 laying around, you can gain help meeting the love of your life. From Chris, with a note attached saying, "If you're tired of the bars".

Try Wordsmith.org's Anagram Server. It takes the letters of your name (or any group of words) and jumbles them up to make new words. It found 1,835 combinations for my name, including "JEFF IS HYPER PILL" or the more personal "JEFF PREP HIS LILY". Yours will be more interesting, I'm sure.

Another competition with potentially serious payout: Agfa's monthly Gallery Competition. From what I can tell, there aren't any silly rules often found when a film manufacturer has a contest. In other words, you don't have to shoot Agfa film to participate.. although, if the Agfa judges are reading this, I love Agfa film.

Two entry-worthy photography competitions closing soon: Bradley University's digital competition, "Deus ex machina" (literally, "God out of the machine"), and Nikon's Editor's Choice Contest.

Due to several requests, I've created a page that describes the cameras I use the most. I also added a page that explains why wedding photography sucks. Check it.

Just when I thought I'd seen it all, Eric sends me the URL to something fresh. The Wayback Machine makes it possible to view almost any public web site stored in the Internet Archive's database, all the way back to 1996. Check out your company's first web site, and have a good laugh.
